Which mattress fits your crib or cot?
These are the sizes we have confirmed against the manufacturers' own published dimensions. If your model is not listed, measure the inside of the crib and use the size tables below.

A note on thickness. Our bedside crib mattresses are 5 cm deep. The mattress supplied with a SnuzPod is 2.5–3 cm, so ours sits the sleeping surface about 2 cm higher. That is more comfortable, but check the height of your crib sides before choosing it — particularly once your baby can push up or sit.
Chicco Next2Me (83 x 50 cm), Tutti Bambini CoZee (83 x 52 cm) and Bednest (82 x 37 cm) are not standard sizes in our range. We can cut a mattress to those exact measurements instead.
How to measure before you order
Measure the inside of the cot, crib or basket — not the outside frame, and not the old mattress, which may have shrunk or was the wrong size to begin with.
- Length and width: measure the internal base, corner to corner, in centimetres.
- Shape: moses baskets and some cribs are oval or tapered, not rectangular. Measure the widest point in both directions.
- Depth: check how far the base sits below the top rail. A thicker mattress is more comfortable but raises the sleeping surface.
Fit matters more than anything else on this page. A mattress should sit flat and snug against all four sides with no gaps. If you are unsure whether a mattress fits safely, check the current guidance from The Lullaby Trust before buying.
Moses basket mattress sizes
All 4 cm thick. Moses baskets vary more than any other size — two baskets that look identical are often 2–3 cm apart, so measure yours rather than assuming.

Which thickness should you choose?

| 4 cm | Moses baskets. Shallow by design — the basket sides are low. |
| 5 cm | Cribs and bedside cribs, where the base sits close to the top rail. |
| 7.5 cm | Travel cots and folding cots. Thin enough to pack down, thicker than the mat most travel cots ship with. |
| 10 cm | The standard depth for a cot or cot bed in daily use. |
| 13 cm | Extra thick, for a cot bed a child will use for years, or where the old mattress has flattened. |
Check the depth of your cot before going thicker. The mattress surface should sit well below the top rail once your child can sit or stand.
